Master Builder!

Ansley has perfected balance while building. It is amazing that she can teeter blocks on top of one another and they stay standing.....until Mia discovers her creation! We have learned the phrase, "It's okay, just build it again!" Both girls love these blocks!

Giant Peppermint Sticks!

The girls Great-Aunt Maryl sent this yummy, sticky treat to the girls for Christmas! As you can tell, they thoroughly enjoyed them.

Mia is 17 Months Old

Our sweet Mia turned 17 months on 12/24. It has been a very busy month for Miss Mia. She has mastered walking and has started to run (for our girls this means they swing their right arm really fast while they walk)! It is so funny. She has overcome not feeling so great, a double ear infection and pneumonia....whew! Despite feeling pretty yucky, she has made the connection with language this month. She can follow a two-step direction and repeats all words! Yes, we have ourselves another chatter box. She can clearly say several words and understands most of what we say. She has a little teacher (Ansley) right beside her at all times, guiding her way. We are very blessed this little girl is in our lives. She makes us laugh and is so sweet!

We Love You, Nanny!

Nanny, thank you so much for helping to make Christmas so memorable! We love you and miss you so much already! Thank you for all of your hugs and kisses!

Christmas Week!

It has been a busy few days at the Sharpless home. We have been shopping, cooking, and enjoying lots of Christmas activities. Sorry I haven't had time to post any pictures....I am making up for it this evening! We are sending lots of love to each of you! Enjoy the update!

Opening Presents!

Before bed tonight the girls got to open their presents from Aunt Mis and family! Thank you so much for sending so much love our way! We love and miss you! Merry Christmas!

A call from Santa!

Tonight the girls got a call from the North Pole! Ansley was so excited when she had a message from Santa, and then when he called back and she got to talk to him! She can't wait for his big arrival tomorrow night! This has been a Santa filled day, as the girls got their letters from him too! We are so lucky there are so many people who make this magical time of year so special for our girls!

Cookie Creation!

This is the final product for Santa! Ansley was very proud of her creation!

Mid-bite! I am not sure it gets any better than this!

Mia loved all of the candy treats too! This morning we spent time at Delaney and Livi's decorating cookies for Santa. We came home with full tummies, reindeer food, a darling ornament for our trees, and a special treat for Santa! Wow.....we are very blessed to have such great friends to create such great Christmas memories!

Jingle Bells....

Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a nice Lobster dinner. Thank you Grammy and PawPaw, what a great gift! Notice who was a little afraid and who wasn't! That is the personality of our girls!
