Mia-Mommy Date

While Scott and Ansley had a fancy night out, Mia and I had a more laid back kind of  afternoon and evening.  I let Mia pick the plan for our time together, she chose playing at the park, dinner at MAD pizza and frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf.  We picked up Cubby from the spa, and then she took a bubble bath and we ended the evening snuggled on the couch reading books.  She looked up at me with her big blue eyes that were getting sleepy and said, "This was the best day ever, I love you Mommy."  I loved my time with Mimi too, we laughed a lot and played hard.  I am so thankful for this memory. I Love my sweet girls!

Getting Ready

Mia was ready for her Mia/Mommy date and  Ans was ready for her Daddy Date.

Back of her hair!

Up 'Do

After realizing I can make perfect pigtails, and not so bad ponytails...I have no idea how to do special occasion hair!  So I booked an appointment and Ansley had a special treat to have fancy hair for the dance.  It turned out darling!

End of Week Mail...

After school on Thursday there was a special package at the door.  The girls were thrilled that their American Girl order had arrived!  They were not disappointed with their purchase.  Mia ordered the lunch box, and Ans got the school back pack!

Breakfast For Dinner

The girls love breakfast for dinner.  So I try to accommodate!  They never tire of waffles and sausage.

A Letter from Ansley

I always want to remember these first writings.  We got our first letter from Ansley tonight it reads, "Dear Mom and Dad, Dad I miss you very much.  And mom you are a good home made waffle maker.  They are very buttery and syrupy.  And I forgot to say dad are you going to take me to dinner at the father daughter dance?  Love Ansley"

Spa Saturday Night

The girls spent most of the day Saturday in American Girl land, at bath time it didn't cease.  They love to pretend and have their dolls be like them.  Fun times!   They spent their commission money on something from AG site it should be coming this week.  They can't wait and are very motivated to earn money so they can place their next order.   They learned all about shipping costs and taxes.  It was a little harder to spend THEIR money.
