iCloud

So I have discovered the magic of iCloud.   Amazingly I can take pix with my iPad and it shows up on my computer and can easily transfer to the blog.....so I am not completely out of commission.   Yay for technology that works like magic!

New Soccer League

We have switched soccer leagues for the spring season.  Last fall Mia was on a team that the girls were a full year older and she lost interest about the second time down the field each game.   It was also a 30 min drive to the practice/playing fields.   So we opted to try the Upward League this spring.  The only problem was Mia isn't old enough to play, she didn't mind one bit, she put on her soccer attire and ran up and down the field while Ansley practiced.    I love that this program is 3 minutes from home and teaches character and sportsmanship!   Ansley mostly loved her new soccer uniform!   GO FLAMES!   

Report Card Today!

Ansley brought home her 3rd Quarter report card today!   I am posting it as a picture so she will someday be able to look back to see her Kindergarten performance.   She continues to love her school, teacher and friends.   She is doing really well academically, but we are most proud of her behavior!   

Cubba-Do

Sweet Cubby had an eventful day yesterday.  He had a dental cleaning,  kennel cough vaccine, toenail trim, and a microchip placed.   Some of these procedures required him to have anesthesia .   So he was pretty sleepy most of the evening last night, but today his back to his playful self.   Here he was waiting for Mia to throw him the ball!   So glad our little guy is 100% well!  

Girls

I love that Ansley wears her "Tiny Topic" notebook everywhere, just in case she finds an idea to write about!   I think she might be a reporter :-)  

Miss Mia was getting ready to read her folder to me.   I am so proud of all she has learned this school year.   I can confidently say she is ready for Kindergarten.   In August there was a big question of if she would be ready.....amazing what 7 months of instruction does for a child this age!

Stay Tuned....

The day before we left for Spring Break we were getting our house in a "show" ready state and my camera fell from the barstool and broke the LCD settings view screen.   So I am sending it to Canon tomorrow I am praying for a quick turn around so I can take Easter pictures.   Ugh....really bad timing.   Enjoy the few pictures I have....I am thankful Ansley and Grammy took tons of pictures and put it together in a book so we have those memories!   Have a great week....or two!

Let's Get This Party Started....

I wanted a few pictures of the girls after church this morning....it turned into a photo dance party!   There is NEVER a dull moment in our house.   

Tooth Fairy Visits.....Again

We were home less than 24 hours and the Tooth Fairy had to make an appearance!  Ansley was so excited to lose yet another tooth!  This makes number 6!

Spring Break 2012

We had a whirlwind Spring Break...let me rephrase, the girls had a break but S. and I need a VACATION.   To summarize we flew the girls to Grammy and PawPaw on Sunday last week.  They had a fantastic time packing in tons of fun.   They went to the beach, saw dolphins from PawPaw's boat, fished, went to the movies, shopped, etc......I am not sure there are words to thank them for having our girls for a week and allowing them so much fun.   We couldn't have done what we needed to do without them.  Thanks Grammy and PawPaw.....we love you!

S. and I headed to Nashville after dropping the girls.  We were on a mission to find our house. Day 1 we looked at probably 15 homes.  From there were narrowed our search and on Thursday we wrote a contract for our new home.   I am thankful for God's presence in this process.....it has been relatively easy as far as house buying goes.   We will move at the end of this school year.....and we have an address.  

Happy St. Patty's Day

We had a visit from the Leprechaun....however, he wasn't caught.  He did leave treasure though.  The girls got new shamrock pj's and necklaces of green.   In his rush to escape he left his rope, hat and button.   Oh and he must have had to potty too!  Love the magic!

Determined

The girls have worked so hard on their Leprechaun Traps.   They put lots of shiny stuff inside with a ribbon for him to climb inside!

PRESENTING......

Mia's Tiny Tots class has been practicing for their performance all month.  She asked me mid-week, "Mom do you know what a prop is?"   I love all she is learning!

McKenna Arrives

Ansley was trying to not feel sad for her self, but happy for her sister.   I have a feeling she will order her doll soon!

Mia had enough money to buy a new American Girl Doll!  She was so excited when it came in the mail this week!  Ansley is working really hard so she has enough soon.
