Richard Swings By....

Now that is a breakfast!
We were so excited for Richard to visit overnight.   We loved catching up!   The girls even had him trying his hand at cartwheels this morning!  Sure wish I would have caught that in a photo!

Art Day

Since S. is out of town, we started our day at Dunkin' Donuts and then headed to the craft store.  We spent a few hours on Saturday being creative!

I have wanted our "House Rules" since we moved in.  But I've had trouble finding a place to make it for me.  So I gave it a shot.  It isn't perfect, but it is very personal, and I love it!

This hangs in the girl's bathroom.  I pray they always remember this important verse.  1Peter 3: 3-4.

Proud of her finished product!  LoVe this girls heart!

Another masterpiece.   I love this because it is so "Mia".  Kinda fly by the seat of your pants kind of girl, and you get what you get!   So pure and honest...love this girl to pieces!

Spirit Day and Play Date!

Friday was lots of fun for the girls   It was spirit day at school and the theme was carnival.  So we dug out yellow, purple and gold for the occasion.   Then after school the girls had friends over to play.  We had lots of fun painting, snacking, and just plain giggling.  Libby and Natalie are such sweet girls.  We are very blessed that we have such good friends.

My teacher friend left me a treat today on my desk.  This is the first time I have seen this.

It's Tuesday!

With a few extra minutes before the bus the girls made a trip to the mailbox to mail a letter.

They took out the trash.....Love these little helpers!

Mia's smile will be changing soon!  Her teeth are coming in.  I LOVE her smile!

Valentine Love

The girls showered us with Valentines  last night.  Homemade gifts are the BEST!  They were so proud to give them to us!

Survived Monday

Mia was so proud to finish her book!  Today she checked out a  collection of Dick and Jane from the library.  Our girl is growing up!

Ummm.... for someone who teaches students organization skills, I think I might need to spend some time on my own little student.  I guess I should be happy we get Mia's papers home.

Ansley got some new specs over the weekend.  She has been wearing  "fashion frames" for a year, so we were skeptical when she failed her vision screening at school.  With two follow up Doctor appointments she really did need glasses.   She keeps telling me how well she can see!  Of course she LOVES her new look!

Writing a letter to President Obama, with some suggestions and questions.

Valentine Box

It is hard to believe it is almost Valentine's Day!  Mia and I decorated her box today.  All Valentine's are addressed and ready to go.  Ansley's class is creating their bag at school!   I am sure there will be lots of love shared this week.

Grandpa and Kim Visit

We had a great visit and celebrated Christmas with Grandpa and Kim.  We loved catching up and spending a few days together.  We love and miss y'all.
