Sweet Sisters....

I am so thankful that these two little girls love each other to pieces!   They are amazing kiddos!

HOT outside!

As much as we love traveling it is always so good to come home.  All the suitcases are unpacked, and we have settled into our summer routine.   The girls would live outside, but today it was hot, so they made some shade.  They were playing with their baby dolls in their tents!

Sensational 6 year Check- Up

This is the amazing little girl that brightens our mornings every day!   It is hard to believe she will be turning 6 next month!

I kinda wonder how long the girls will let me take pictures at their well checks each year.   I always want to remember each stage of their lives.   Mia has grown this past year.  She is 46.5 inches tall (75%) and 50 lbs. (75%).   She is a healthy little girl that is so excited for all that the next year will bring.  We love her spunky sweet personality!

Cross

I have a wall of crosses in my laundry room.   The large center one was made from debris from the Joplin tornado, and given to me as a gift from a dear friend in Arkansas.  I couldn't wait to hang it in our home.   I have added to the collection over the past year.   Scott brought the one on the left back from the beach.  Scott's best friend from high school, mom (Jane) made this for our home.   It is made from drift wood, Spanish moss and sea shells.   I LOVE it.   I honestly feel so blessed that God continues to put people in our lives that love us across time and miles!   These crosses remind us of how loved we are!

Nanny's Summer 2013

The girls arrived ready to explore!  They found bugs and lizards!

Nanny is not a "dog in the house" kind of person....however she lets cubby stay inside and even loves on him when the girls aren't carrying him around.

A week of swim lessons.   The girls had swim at 8:25 every morning.  We love the swim club in Aiken, so it is fun for them to participate to improve their swim skills here!

Ansley lost a tooth!  The tooth fairy had to visit Ansley in South Carolina!   She even left an ice-cream gift card....what a special treat!

Not sure how this is out  of order, but here they are bright and early on the last day of swim!

On Monday Missie arrived.   She is now with mom for  2 weeks, as mom continues to recover.   I know their time together will be blessed!

Celebrating Father's Day 2013

I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this family.   We had a Father's Day picnic (with PF Changs), Coconut Cream Pie, presents and LOTS of love!   I am so glad our girls have a daddy that lives a prioritized life!

A BUSY 3 Weeks!

Well Summer is clearly in full swing.  I have had some time to reflect and truly be thankful.   I was able to be with my mom as she had her second knee replacement June 3rd.  The surgery went exceptionally well and she continues to recover without much pain at all!  That is a huge answer to prayer.  So while I was with her in South Carolina for 3 weeks, Scott and the girls were a very busy bunch.   The girls attended Vacation Bible School, which they LOVED.   It was so fun for them to connect with their school friends for a "Camp to learn about Jesus".   Then S. took the girls to his parents for a week.   They had so much fun playing in the sand, boating and loving on Grammy and Paw Paw.   Then we met the weekend of Father's day and the girls came to Nanny's with me.......that is where the pictures for the blog begin.   So the first two weeks will have to stay in their memory banks....
