Camp Highland 2013

All packed and ready for her camp experience

Sharing special time with Uncle Matt and Molly

Daddy and Daughter

Camp Highland is a camp experience for Dads and Daughters.  The premise is to spend quality time together and to grow closer to God.  The weekend finally arrived.....they had so much fun.   The stories of adventure and working together continue to pour out.   I am so thankful that  God has given our girls a daddy that continues to guide our family in all areas that matter.   I'm mostly thankful that all of our work on earth will be rewarded in heaven.

I'm also very thankful that Mia and I got to spend the weekend together.  We giggled and loved "just being us".  I was brought to happy tears when she handed me a note at the end of school today that  read," I love you mom I had a great weekend".
I am so blessed!
I know Mia will love camp next year.....you have to be 7 to attend.

Grammy and Paw Paw's Birthday Surprise Arrives

A box of cuteness arrived from Alabama tonight.  The girls loved their new clothes and we loved that they got to try them on so Grammy could see them on FaceTime!   These are the moments technology is so great!   Thanks Grammy and PawPaw...We LOVE you!

Teen Beach Party Fun

What a cute party idea.  Emma Grace is  in Ansley's class but Mia got to attend too!  We were greeted with surfboard decor and all things beach. All guests were asked to dress as either surfers or bikers.  In the back yard there was a HUGE screen with a projector.  After all the party fun the kids watched the movie outside!  So thankful for GREAT friends!  Needless to say, we put a couple of tired girls to bed tonight!

8 year old stats....

Ansley Parker had her 8 year old Well-Check today.  Dr. Lund gave her a healthy report.   She is 49.5 inches tall (40%) and 59 lbs. (50%).  She continues to grow right on track.   This year the discussion was about safety, getting enough rest, eating well and exercise, as well as becoming aware of her body and taking care of it!   Our baby isn't a baby anymore.  We are so thankful for our AMAZING, HEALTHY sweet girl.  Seriously, it seems like yesterday I was typing how proud we were as parents that she was meeting all of her developmental milestones as a baby!   Don't Blink.....

It's officially Fall....

The box of yumminess arrived from Minonk!  Thanks Grandpa and Kim!  We love you.  Thanks for continuing this Fall tradition.

Birthday Gifts....Delivered!

Thanks Klendworth Crew for sending love for Ansley's 8th birthday.  As you can tell the girls LOVED opening treats from ya'll.

Fall Break 2013

We just got home from a fantastic family week!   The best part of starting school on August 5th is an entire week off in October!   It was a perfect time for us to get away and make some memories.   We had so much fun!  Enjoy the pictures....

Vacation.....Part 2

We booked a few days on the back end of Disney for us!   We knew we would need some time to relax and enjoy family time a the beach.

We headed to Amelia Island.  The first day and 1/2 were cloudy and cold, but then the skies cleared and we enjoyed our days on the beach searching for shells, building sand castles and just plain loving God's masterpiece!

Turtles roaming the sand dunes.

My amazing family!   I am so blessed!
