Mia's Timeline Project

All 2nd graders at JAE are required to create a timeline of their lives.   I was up until 2 a.m. going through our blog and reflecting on this precious little girl.  Time is going way to fast, but I am so thankful for every memory, all of the joy, and love she has brought to our family. I am so thankful for this project because it requires me to reflect.   I am so thankful I have captured so many moments and recorded them.   I know the girls get so tired of me taking pictures, but I LOVE going back and remembering all of the every day stuff in our lives.   It is so clear to me that in all of it God's hand has been on our lives.

Hard at work!

I think she enjoyed  putting this together!   The Title is:  Mia's 7 Wonderful Years

Snowball Dance 2015

First Baptist Hendersonville Snowball Dance 2015

A wrist corsage is a must!

I love this picture!

This handsome man with his beautiful little girls ready for dinner and the dance!  The girls LOVED shopping for his tie to match their dresses!

The girls loved getting dressed up and curling their hair  for the big night.   So excited that they love an evening with their daddy!   These memories are precious!  I can't wait to hear all about all of the fun they had!

Inventive Spelling

I love that Mia love reading and writing.   I never want to forget this stage of development.  She is a textbook phonetic speller.  I picked her up from CIA on Wed. and she proudly handed me this.  "The four Gospels"

1st Snow 2015

We woke up this morning to a pretty Tennessee snow.  Girls took a few minutes to make Snow Angels, and tracks!  The sun melted it before 10:00 a.m.  The perfect "snow day" in my opinion!   Maybe we will get just a little more so we can build one snowman….then Spring can arrive!

Kitchen Helpers

My place card for dinner!  LOVE.

Ansley helping make breakfast…scrambled eggs!

Getting the table ready!

Mia The Artist

Mia went to a friend's birthday party and came home with this creation!  It was a painting party/lesson.  She was so funny talking about the "detail" brush she used!   This canvas proudly hangs in her room!

Academic Awards 1st Semester

2nd 9 week and Semester Grades are in!  Ansley made A honor roll, and the Principal's 100 club for Accelerated Reader

Mia also got straight A's!  She is working hard to meet her goal in AR.  I LOVE that these girls love school and put in good effort to get good grades.  They are developing great learning strategies!

Grammy and PawPaw celebrate 50 years of Marriage

Planning was so fun and decorating even better.  What a special night to celebrate  two very special people.

The happy couple

So blessed to celebrate these two this weekend.   January 8, 1965 they began their journey together.  Many years have passed and much of life has happened.  So thankful to be part of this family.
