Life Update….

It always seems like May is the craziest month of the year.   All activities are winding up and school is exceptionally busy.  It was nice to have a few minutes to catch up on the blog.  I always want to remember the blessings of this time of year even thought it is a bit busy.  This year is especially busy. We just learned last week that we will be moving back to NWA.  It is so tough to leave a place that we love, friends that are so amazing and a life that "seems right".   We always pray for God to lead us and for us to be obedient when He does.  So, we are trusting that His plans are bigger than ours.  It will be a busy summer moving, enrolling in new schools, managing all of the details, etc… It is my desire to walk in faith well.  I want to enjoy every step of the process and make memories big and small as we transition.   I am certain we will have a plan and it will fall apart.  I am praying for God to prepare our hearts for everything that is ahead for our family.  I am praying for protection and peace as we say good-bye to this place.  In the meantime….summer is here and we plan on relaxing, playing, and loving every second we are given.
Happy May!

FREEZING Swim practice

This year's swim season started with 66 degree temps and even colder water.  That's one way to make them swim fast!  We are so looking forward to mornings at the pool and fun memories with our friends!  Go Fairvue Flippers!

Strawberry Pickin'

Mother's Day weekend was spent on the Strawberry Farm.  We had so much fun spending the day in the dirt.

Last Day of School 2016

Mia finished 3rd grade strong!  She has made us so proud this year.   She has not only excelled academically, but her heart has been shown in all she does.  She is so kind and caring to everyone.  Jack Anderson Elementary has been the perfect fit.
Ansley was an amazing 4th grader.  She too shone academically and grew so much with developing the into a person of character.  Although, she is much more internal than her sister, her heart is just as kind.  She loves deeply.  It was hard to walk through their classrooms today, knowing that we will not be back next year.  What a gift their teachers have given us.  They appreciated our girls for the kids they are, poured into them daily and loved them!  Part of our hearts will always be at Jack Anderson!

Let's get this party started!

Power breakfast at Chick-Fil-A

I love this picture.  We had no idea how blessed we would be by getting to know Mrs. Lewis.  She has become such a part of our daily lives.  Ansley loved having her for SEARCH this year, and Mia just plain loves her.  She is my co-worker that will NEVER be replaced.  So happy to have had this year with her!  She will lead well.

Mrs. Freebern with our girls.  She is the reason our girls grew in third grade.  She showed up this morning with beautiful necklaces for us.  Each was a map of the state of TN or the city of Hendersonville.  So thoughtful.  Part of us will certainly take TN with us when we move.

Mrs. Freebern and Mia=Success!

The girls with Emma Freebern.  There were many before and after school play dates with these girls.   We love you sweet Emma!

Mrs. Meikrantz and Ansley.  4th grade was amazing.  We are sad we won't get to love on baby Knox in August!

Mia and Izzy!  Pure Love!

Iz, Jack and Mia getting ready for their silly string party!

Such sweet friends!  Mia loved Jack from the minute she met him.

Mia getting the voracious reading award, A honor roll, and 3rd grade certificate.

Mrs. Freebern presented Mia with a class gift.  The kids made the state of TN, with their fingerprints.  Mia was overwhelmed and cried!  I'm not sure their was a dry eye in the place.  We are so blessed!

Mrs. Angel has been part of Mia's class all year.  These two love each other!

Loving this crazy life!

Ansley ready for summer in her new prescription shades.  Love them!

We finished up our night by cleaning out backpacks and reading the complements for Mia. Each classmate completed a card about something they loved about Mia.  What a blessing.

Priceless gift!  I know this will have a perfect spot in her new room!
