Shadow Valley Summer Swim 2019

Yesterday SV hosted the first swim meet of the summer!   We LOVE summer swim.  The girls practice mornings a week (the opposite two mornings from cheer practice).  They love getting up and riding the golf cart to the pool.  The first week was a little rough as they had to get back to swimming shape.  Now they enjoy the practice and swimming fast.  Yesterday Mia swam, 100 IM, 50 back, 50 free, and a relay.  She walked away with 3 first place ribbons.   Ansley swam the 50 free, 50 back and 50 breast and she got 1st in the breast stroke, and beat her previous times in both other events!  Swim Fast Sharks!

Award.....

Somehow I don't have a picture on my "good" camera for Mia's award ceremony!  She was awarded A honor roll for the ENTIRE year!  We are so proud of her!  She works hard and continues to do amazing things.  These pictures show her true heart!  She loves many things "BIG" but this little dog has a very special place in her heart!  Cubby has celebrated his 14th birthday and she doesn't remember life without him (we were blessed with him when he was 5).  She truly soaks in every second she can with her BFF!

Last Day of 2018-19 School Year!

We are excited for a MUCH needed break for summer.   These girls had amazing 6th and 7th grade school years.  We are so proud of their academic success.  Mostly we are proud of them navigating the social stressors of all that is involved in a school day!  They are amazing girls that are developing their character in the joy and the struggle.  I am so proud to help guide them and continue to grow as we parent.  My prayer for them daily is protection of their hearts and minds and to be bright lights in this world.  They are loved beyond words!

Award's Night

Celebrating academic achievements for AP's  7th grade year! Proud that she has high expectations and works hard to make them happen!

Turkish Delight!

Ansley's FINAL Geography project of the year.  She and a friend chose Turkey.  She learned a lot and so did we!   For the Geography fair she chose to make Turkish Delight.  This turned in to a family event with lots of stirring.  She got an A so I guess we did an okay job making this treat!

Mother's Day 2019

I am so thankful that I get to be a mom!  God has truly blessed me with amazing girls and a loving husband.  I am forever grateful for the life I live.  Everyday I am appreciated but on Mother's Day I am beyond celebrated!   Thankful and Blessed!
