July is all things celebrating and the marker of Summer ending. We celebrated July 4th at home this year. Ansley was able to join us as it was her 24 hours off from camp. Scott and I escaped to Vegas for a few days, I tagged along on a work trip. It was fun but HOT! Mia fufilled her portion of her graduation gift and met some friends at St. Simons Island. Ansley came home from camp, and we prepared to get everything ready for college move in. We celebrated Nanny's 78th birthday and Mia's 18th birthday! We spend a few days at our pool relaxing and then I went to school to prepare for the 25-26 school year. My room is ready my brain is not! Today on July 31, Mia is driving to the beach for a few days with Scott. All of our cars are loaded for college move in. Ansley and I will travel to Auburn tomorrow and then on the 2nd, we begin the process. My house is already too quiet! This is the next chapter!

June 2025
June is the official month of summer! We are soaking up all the things! The beginning of the month we had our kitchen cabinets refaced, that was a project! Ansley started her summer job at Kanakuk. She lived her BEST life being a counselor and a life guard. God showed up, she grew in her faith and she was surrounded by some incredible young people. Mia and I made the trip to Auburn for Camp War Eagle, it is the weekend where upcoming freshman learn ALL things Auburn. They also meet with academic advisors and attempt to get their schedules. I am not going to lie, it is a bit information overload and stressful. But is also a time of connection. We were so fortunate to meet Holland (Mia's roomate) and her parents. God has been so gracious in preparing us for the next season. Scott was charged with making more desk hutches! Mia's dorm is being renovated with new furniture so the ones he makes last year won't fit! So Mia gets to take a piece of furniture made with love just for her, by her daddy!
