Bottoms Up!

Yep, that is Mia behind the bowl drinking spinach juice! She is just like her big sister and can't get enough of the green stuff. S. and I laugh thinking we have the only three-year old in the world asking for spinach as her vegetable of choice!

For those of you who are skeptical....that really is spinach in the bowl! Happy Hump Day!

After School Activity!

She was very serious about her bead making!

These precious hands!

She loved the finished product! What a fun activity!

Beautiful Mia!

Some pix of Mia playing this week. She is so much fun right now. She knows exactly what she wants and can pitch a fit with the best of them! She is learning her boundaries and figuring out new words daily to communicate her needs. She is growing up. She is a very loving little girl!

May God Always Bless Mia!

Today Mia was baptized. The same pastor that welcomed us to our church and baptized Ansley had the honor of baptizing our Mia today. When the brief ceremony was over Mia waved to the crowed and said, "bye, bye"! She was a crowd pleaser. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to profess our commitment and publicly announce that we will teach our children about God! What gifts they are in our lives.

Tummies.....

Before baths tonight we got a few picts of the girls tummies! We haven't laughed this hard in a very long time! Someday they are going to kill us for taking these pictures! Enjoy!

Sweet Princess!

Mia's turn to dress up! She loves being a princess too! Ansley gives assignments to everyone and I am always the fairy godmother, daddy is the mean stepsister, tonight he put his foot down and stated he was the prince!

Splash!

We found this cool water fall that we could actually play in!

Exploring!

We hiked a short trail and found an old stone wall!

Daddy and the girls!

Mommy teaching Mia how to throw a rock in the water!

A Day at the Park!

Mia loved throwing rocks!

Sweet girls!

So this was the pre-photo of us feeding the geese. It ended with Ansley terrified and me getting bit! I think next time we will leave the bread at home!

Almost Friday!

Ansley can't wait for the weekend to stay home to be a full-time mommy!

Mia loves her puppy!

This week we have had some early mornings that have made smiles and frowns. Here Mia wasn't giving Ansley enough love and she wasn't happy about it!

This Week....

We ate Rick's cookies! Mia actually spit hers out and Ansley enjoyed every bite!

This Week.....Haircuts!

Ansley loves being a big girl. She climbs up in the chair all by herself and loves getting her hair cut. Here she is waiting for Ms. Kim to get her cape.

Mia liked her haircut this time too, mostly she loved exploring the salon.

Monday Madness

Today we are back at school! We had an adjustment period after school....a princess dress seemed to help us get right back in the swing of things!

Cheerio.....this is Mia's new word. She says it and then laughs and kicks knowing she is going to get more! So cute!

Mia is 18 Months Old!

On Jan. 24th Mia turned 18 months old! It is hard to believe that our baby is growing up. These two photos capture her personality. The first is a picture of our "go with the flow" girl. She has always just gone along with whatever we have asked of her. The second captured her independent side. She loves to go to the pantry and gather "snacks" here was a can of chili beans! One thing is for sure, the past 18 months we have known love we didn't think possible. This little girl brings us so much joy and laughter. God knew just what we needed when he gave us Mia. She had her well baby-check. She is growing.....she weighs 25lbs. 4 oz. (60%), and is 31 inches tall (25%). She continues to be short and chunky! She is developing normally!

New Toys!

Ansley was taking her nap next to Livia. She was snuggled in close!

Mia loves her new puppy. When you walk this little guy, he barks. She laughs and says, "wuff, wuff!" She has given this furry friend lots of love!

Christmas Presents!

Ansley holding her "almost real" baby, Livia. She loves her. She is such a great mommy and takes such good care of her baby! It is so cute!

Mia got an American Girl Doll, named Mia! Someday she will love that she has a baby that shares her same name! Wow!

What fun to have Christmas in January! The girls loved opening presents and giving hugs for their treasures!

Grandpa and Kim Visit

Grandpa snuggled in watching Dora!

Big hug. Grandpa was so silly he called her Andi, she laughed and called him Grandpo!

Mia showing Kim her purse!
We were so happy that Grandpa and Kim visited us this weekend. It was great to see them and fun to catch up! They also brought mid 50 to low 60 degree weather! You are welcome anytime! We love you!

Love.....

The girls were semi-cooperative while I took a few photos on Friday! Enjoy!
