Ready for Graduation!

Ansley had her Preschool Graduation last night.  Here are a few pictures of the girls before we loaded up in the car!  Mia was so excited to watch her sister.

When Ruth is your neighbor you have a kitchen that looks like hers!  She has shared many recipes with me, but I think this is what her kitchen looks like all the time.  There are homemade cinnamon rolls rising under those towels, and that is bread dough in the middle!  I am so blessed to have a neighbor who makes everything from scratch, and who shares and believes I too can bake!   Thanks Ruth, my kitchen smells like home!!!

Picnic Perfect!

Mia was sporting a couple of tattoos on her legs, one says, "sweetie" the other says "rockstar"!  Don't worry they are washed off for Sunday School tomorrow!

This girl is growing up right before our eyes!  

God gave us the perfect weather day!  It was warm, a little breezy and sunny!  The girls loved their lunch under the shade tree.  Daddy mowed around them, but they didn't mind!  We love spending time outside!

Park Party!

Today after school, we joined a party to tell our friends good-bye!  They will be moving to Colorado this weekend.  We have known each other since Ansley and Delaney were babies!  That is the unique thing about this area, the job market always brings in new people and then it is sad when they have to leave!  Best of luck as they begin this next chapter in their lives!  We will miss ya'll!

Feels ALMOST like Summer!

We made fruit pop-cicles after school yesterday!

The girls could live outside.  Mia was enjoying relaxing in the grass and Ans was eating her cereal on the lounge chair!  We are such summer people.....just a few more weeks!  

Papa's Pizza!

We love pizza night at our house!  The girls love making their own, and S. and I think it is the best in town!  I so love my husband that loves to cook!

Funny Words

Mia makes us laugh all the time and we never quite know what she is going to say.  Tonight she said, "Mommy we are all princesses; I am a princess, Ansley is a princess, you are a princess, and daddy is the Queen." 

Cold Snap

Ansley was wearing her gymnastic suit  because of the NCAA  tournament on TV yesterday.  Then she and sissy were headed outside to play bubbles, she added a heavy coat.
