A Week Behind

Aunt Rita and family sent Ansley's birthday necklace with grammy and pawpaw.  She LOVES it.  Thanks for thinking of her.

Grammy and PawPaw came to visit us last weekend!  It was great to catch up!  So thankful for our time together!

Sweet Ansley

Daddy and Ans enjoying ice-cream in front of the fire!   It was chilly!

Ansley working hard on a letter to her BFF who is moving in a few weeks!  We are excited to plan a "moving party"!  Step 1:  Letters from all her friends!

Phase 1.....

PJ day and big day at theOrthodontist.....this is the last day of this smile! For the next year this smile will change to become more aligned.  We think she is perfect just the way she is, but Dr. Morris said we need to correct her jaw alignment so she has healthy teeth and bone for lifetime.  So......

for the next 9mos to a year she gets 2 front braces.....which she loves, an expander and headgear at night!  She is so EXCITED!   We love this smile no matter what!   Phase 2 will be in about 4 years to straighten her teeth....full braces.

Love her Heart

After completing her homework one night this week, Mia wrote her teacher a note!  This girl LOVES her teacher!   I am so thankful for teachers that truly teach the love of learning.

Christmas Lists

Mia's Christmas ideas:  Rainbow Loop E.G. (Emma Grace) kind, some new gym suits, a new ipod case, silly string, some Bama shirts, some more CD's, Emma's lipstick at toys are us, lock diary and gift cards to Justice.  Oh how I love the inventive spelling!   I treasure these moments.

Ansley's List:  Rainbow Loom kit, footy pajamas, silly string, zig zag shorts, half shirts, desk, gum and Ipad.

It is hard to believe we are thinking of Christmas already.  This year is flying!!!

Sleepy Saturday

Too much Trick or Treat fun the night before!

Operation Christmas Child.  We love this ministry and have so much fun each year shopping and praying over the children that receive these gifts.

S'mores and fun after gathering all our treats!

Jackpot!

This year was a little off for Trick or Treating.  On Halloween we had bad storms, so  many in our neighborhood went the next night.

Silly Sock Day

The girls and I rockin' our Silly Socks.  Red Ribbon Week....Sock It To Drugs!

Camp Highland 2013

All packed and ready for her camp experience

Sharing special time with Uncle Matt and Molly

Daddy and Daughter

Camp Highland is a camp experience for Dads and Daughters.  The premise is to spend quality time together and to grow closer to God.  The weekend finally arrived.....they had so much fun.   The stories of adventure and working together continue to pour out.   I am so thankful that  God has given our girls a daddy that continues to guide our family in all areas that matter.   I'm mostly thankful that all of our work on earth will be rewarded in heaven.

I'm also very thankful that Mia and I got to spend the weekend together.  We giggled and loved "just being us".  I was brought to happy tears when she handed me a note at the end of school today that  read," I love you mom I had a great weekend".
I am so blessed!
I know Mia will love camp next year.....you have to be 7 to attend.
