Our New House!

We are no longer "homeless".  We closed on our house today.  Painting, carpet and minor work to be completed and we will move in and make it our home.  Here are the "before we invade" pictures.

Drop Area, a must have for all of our stuff!

We named this the Christmas Cookie Island!  I can't wait until this is filled with cookies!

Scott has claimed this balcony as "his".  He likes to announce he is the KING of the land from this platform!  We let him live the fairytale!

Upper deck off the kitchen, great room, and master!

We are so excited for this space to become our home!   Move in is scheduled for
October 3, 2016.

The Signs are Removed

Yesterday, the girls gathered the signs from the yard because we closed on our NEW HOME TODAY!!!!

Student Council 2016

Mia working on give-aways.

Family effort as Ansley prepares to run for 5th grade Student Council.

Writing her speech.  Daddy helped with the delivery!

Doing her "winning leg kick"!   We are so proud of her stepping out of her comfort zone, asking adults for recommendation letters, writing and essay of "why" she would be a good candidate and finally convincing her class that she would make a good representative.

Little Reader!

Mia spending some time outside reading!

5th Grade School Picture Day!

Spiral Curls!

The only thing in our lives that is not chaotic or in transition is school!  Ansley had her school pictures last week.  We got up EARLY and curled her L-O-N-G hair.  The dress was a gift from Gpa and Kim during her visit to IL this summer.  Our baby is growing up to be a beautiful young lady.

Having fun after school playing in the mud!   These girls love it outside....ready for our own back yard!

New Kicks

Ready to run!

Sharing Space

Apartment sleeping at its best!  Ansley was adamant that she bring her own bedding to our apartment.  Smart move!

Ready for Church

We are praying for a church home so we can continue to grow!

Early Mornings

School starts early here!  Girls ready to leave about 6:45 for a drop off time of 7:15 Mia and 7:30 for Ansley!  We are adjusting.  So ready for our house so we don't have to leave quite so early in the mornings!

Swim Awards 2016

Thankful for a swim team that sends the end-of-the-year awards!  We love summer swim!

First day S-U-C-C-E-S-S!

Ans never wants to commit to her occupation, this year she was very determined.  She added the medical school on her own.  I think she was missing the familiar!  She loves children and would make a great pediatrician.  She sets a goal and meets it!  I am excited to see what God has planned for her future.

Ready to tackle her first day of middle school.  I am happy to report she LOVED it!  She said the first two hours were really hard, b/c she didn't know anyone, but after she met a couple of girls she was thrilled.  I loved hearing all about her day!  I'm so proud of her attitude during our transition.  She is ONLY looking at the "glass half full".   I am so thankful for this precious girl.

Ready to meet their teachers!
