Ansley's Birthday

Natalie, Ansley, Taylor, Mia and Phoebe

Ansley and Mia had a sleep over to celebrate Ansley's birthday (a few weeks late).   They went to Highrise, Pizza, TCBY and back home for a movie and sleepover.

Everyday we make progress getting this house together.  Our move has tested me in all areas.  Our furniture was lost, some damaged, 28 boxes missing and every box I open I want to cry!  So when it begins to come together and feel a little more like home, I am thankful for the progress.   It has been the hardest move I've ever made  God is growing me in giving up control and for my seeking him daily in His plan.   I didn't take one picture of all of the boxes and stuff everywhere.  I like order and structure….I've had enough chaos to last the rest of my life!

Boo

We now live in a huge neighborhood.  The girls were so excited to Boo some of our neighbors.  They love riding their bikes and come back home exhausted from the hills!

Well Check

Ansley had her Well-Check at Dr. Cadle's office.   I am so thankful to report that she is growing perfectly.  She weighed 78lbs. (50%) and was 48.5 inches tall (50%).  She had to get 3 shots, which we were not expecting and she HATES needles.  Once it was over, she realized she was going to live! Whew!!!!  She is all set until next years flu shot.  I am so thankful for our healthy girl!

Ansley is 11

What JOY it is to celebrate this girl.  God has given us a blessing in her.  This birthday was a bit different from all of the others for her.  We moved in to our home on Oct. 3rd so you can imagine the chaos.   In her precious spirit she didn't want a party or gifts.   We celebrated her anyway! She chose Olive Garden for dinner, a Rick's Bakery Cake, and she was showered with a few new clothes, jewelry from Aunt Missie, Aunt Rita, and Nanny, a yoga ball from her sister and Alabama/Arkansas football tickets from us.   The next day we had so much fun at the football game!  This girl brings us so much joy.  These preteen years are precious.  It is so fun to watch her grow.  I know God has big plans for her!  She will accomplish big things in her life!

The day after we closed we had the painters begin a whole house paint.  It was a full two weeks of painting all of the walls and ceilings.  It was fun to come to the house everyday and see the progress.  I had to have a decorator come in a panic because the white for the ceiling that we chose was too blue….Who knew there are 100 shades of white?!?  Our painters were amazingly patient and did an amazing job! So we have been in our house almost a month now, and it is kind of hard to remember this stage!

First Day as Homeowners back in Arkansas!

It will be better when there is furniture to do work on!

Thankful for these blessings in my life!

These girls will make lots of memories behind these doors.

Welcome Home!  I cannot wait to have all of our stuff out of storage and for us to be in our own beds!  Stay tuned for pictures of the process!  Painting begins tomorrow!
