Boy Cousins!

Cole couldn't get enough of his baby cousin, when she squeaked he gave her a Popsicle! I cannot believe he is 14 years old, it seems like yesterday I was holding him when he was Mia's age!

Reed got lots of kisses from Ansley! She LOVES her big cousins and wants to do everything they do! They were so sweet to include her in all the fun!

Mia fixing Reeds hair, notice he is so tall he had to slouch way over for her to reach! My girls didn't get the "tall gene".

I had to post this because Cole averts photos and I caught him smiling! Love you!

A Few Days at the Lake!

The girls and I just got back from spending a few days with the Klendworth Crew! We had so much fun swimming and boating in the lake, catching up, and just spending time together! Thanks so much for the invite!

Bluebird of Happiness

We spent the day at Terra Studio. The Bluebird of Happiness is supposed to be just that, a bird that brings happiness. The artist (Leo Ward) began making these glass birds in 1975, and is still making them today! We enjoyed the day exploring the grounds. The girls each chose a pink bird to bring home (The bird of Hope)! Here are some photos of our day.

Making Bluebirds of Happiness!

The girls "glued" to the window watching this man's talent!

Ready for the cooling oven.

Yep, it starts off as a molten glass. It was amazing to watch this become a bluebird in a matter of about a minute!

Lunch Outside!

We packed a lunch and enjoyed the nice weather outside!

Looking In....

This was so cute, there was a troll house and the girls could look in the window to see a sleeping troll inside! What a fun adventure!

Enchanted Forest!

The grounds of this place are filled with whimsy and fantasy! The girls loved walking through the forest and spotting all of the Trolls! Make-believe is so fun!

A Beautiful Day!

We are having beautiful weather! Here we enjoyed swinging and enjoying the views of the art gardens! A fun Saturday!

And She Swims!

This girl LOVES to jump off the board!

In a week she has learned to swim! Her teacher and I laugh saying she isn't in it for the speed, she looks likes she is snorkling!

Notice that smile! she loves to touch the bottom with her hands, so after she jumps in Miss Allison pushes he to the bottom!

While she was waiting for her turn, Ans, swam by the steps! We have had a successful week of swimming lessons! Now we get to practice the rest of the summer!

Our Little Fish!

Sweet Mia is serious about swimming! She enjoyed the pool while her sister was in lessons! We have had a great week in Miss Allison's pool!

School Birthday Party!

You may wonder where are the party pictures? Well, here it is! Mia didn't eat a cupcake and when her friends sang Happy Birthday, she turned her head and sucked her thumb! So, in 20 years when she compares pictures with her sister and says, "Mom, you didn't even take pictures of my 2nd birthday party at school." I can remind her that she didn't want to participate! It is hard to believe that our baby will be 2 next week!

Time-Out!

After hitting her sister, Mia put herself in time-out! I like to believe that I have been so consistent in my behavior management that they are on "auto-pilot". The reality is she knew she better get to time-out to escape the mommy lecture.

Kisses for Breakfast!

Sending Grandpa lots of hugs and kisses today on his birthday!

Making Mommy Beautiful!

This was a little role reversal. Ansley told me, "Hold still, so I can fix your hair!" I think she may have heard that a time or two!

Piggy Back!

While Daddy was fixing the bathroom drawer, the girls decided to give their froggy a piggy back ride!

See!!!
