Happy 42nd Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my amazing husband!  I am so thankful that God has put this man in my life.   Every year it is so fun to see what treat he wants me to make.  This year he went way back to my pound cake.  His request was that it was warm right out of the oven.  So here it is!   Wishing him a year of all of the love and happiness he deserves!

Creative Juices flowing!

Ya'll may remember Rudy Mia's toy balloon, well Ansley created her own last night!  Meet Whiskers!  These girls have loved every second of jammie days, no schedule and being at home.   I am ready for Monday and my brain to start working again!   I think I have watched every episode of HGTV!  Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! 2015

I have never been a big New Year's girl.  I have always liked the lower key of this celebration.  So this year was perfectly spent at home with my family playing board games and ringing in the new year with horns and hats!   I am also not big on resolutions or goals, but this year I am making a commitment to stop "starting over" with my health and lifestyle goals.   Starting over means at some point I have quit, and I am truly looking forward to a permanent change.   So with all of the blessings of 2014 wrapped up in memories, here is looking forward to 2015!

Christmas Card 2014

Well, I wasn't sure the cards were going to go out this year.  But the last minute I took pictures and gathered a few from our fall trip.  I love receiving Christmas cards and it is always so much fun sending them out too!   Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Christmas Dinner

So blessed to share a great day at home. We relaxed all day and then had Christmas dinner.  The girls loved our fancy dinner in the dining room!

Christmas Morning!

Christmas Eve

Celebrating with Nanny after Church

Do you want to build a snowman?

Good thing Nanny was here.  This was a detailed project that took too much time for me!  S. and I last minute shopped while this took place!

Build By Daddy

Scott built the girls a swing set which is a HUGE hit.  They love to play outside and swing!  What a gift!   I'm not sure if I could keep track of how many times I have heard, "Thank you daddy for building us a swing set!"  I am certain many hours will be spent here!

Cookie Decorating with Friends!

We had so much fun having the girls friends over to spread a little cheer.   We decorated cookies, made a craft, watched a Christmas movie, and had hot chocolate.  So thankful for these girls and their friendship!  Blessed!

Grammy and PawPaw's presents!

Girls loved opening gifts a few days early.   Thank you Grammy and PawPaw for sending presents!  We love you and are thinking of you this Christmas!

Mia's gift from JAE

Mia created this piece of pottery as a gift to us this year.  I love that her precious hands worked so hard on this gift.  Mrs. Ligon (JAE art teacher) sure knows how to touch a parents heart.
