Mia is 16 Months Old Today!

Our baby girl is growing up! Today marks her 16 month birthday. She has had a very busy month building her vocabulary and learning to walk! She certainly has a strong opinion how she thinks her world should work, and also has a very loving personality! I am so glad God gave us Mia, He knew exactly what we needed! We are very blessed to have such great girls!

played so hard after school today! I think they really miss each other after being together all weekend. Above, Mia was doing whatever Ansley told her to do! Ansley wanted Mia to be the baby so she could pat her!

Ansley still loves to feel Mia's soft hair! She has done this from the moment Mia entered our family!

This weekend we decorated for Christmas. In addition to the tree in the living room, the girls each have a tree in their rooms! Ansley was giving hers a hug! She loves the lights, trees, Santa and Baby Jesus! Mia looks and says, "Pretty"! We are in for a wonderful Christmas this year!

She is such a sweet baby! She understands everything we say and says several words. Her newest is "no no"! She says it with sass! We are in such trouble!

Super Duper Leg Kick!

Ansley has a Stretch and Grow gym class at school. She is always showing us her new moves that Coach Jared teaches her. This is "The Super Duper High Leg Kick". The funnest part is Mia lifts her leg in the air too! I will try to get a picture!

Color Change at School!

When I picked Ansley up from school today I was greeted with these words, "Mommy, my name is on yellow." Uh oh...that means she didn't listen after being told to do something. She explained that she took her shoes off at lunch and when was asked to put them on she didn't do it. Followed by, "It was an accident." I explained the difference between an accident an just not listening! She agreed she didn't make a good choice and will make better choices tomorrow! Teaching never rests!!!! Happy Tuesday!
