Lots of Posts

It has been so busy since we have closed on our house.  We are getting more settled everyday.  Life continues to happen as we adjust.  Enjoy the update!

More Halloween Fun

Real Goldfish

Scott's office had a family event of games and trick or treating yesterday after school!   The girls wanted to dress as Alabama Cheerleaders!  They are staying strong Bama fans in the Razorback country.  They were all about supporting their team and were greeted with lots of "whoo-pig-sooie" comments!  It is so fun to see all of the creativity in making it fun.

Last night we went to the neighborhood Haunted House and hay ride!  We are loving all of the family fun!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Ansley made all A honor roll.
It has been a huge transition for us to move back to NWA.   I am so proud of our girls  for achieving so well in school.  We had parent teacher conferences this week and got shining reports.   Mia's school does not give percentage grades but she received the highest marks possible in all areas of her report card too!  I most proud of their willingness to embrace change and know that God is in control and truly live it.  We miss everything about our lives in TN, and our Jack Anderson Community.  I know God will provide everything we need here too.  Growing and learning is certainly part of His plan!

Superhero Day

Mismatched day

BFMS celebrated begin Drug Free with dress up day's.  I love that Ansley went all out everyday to support the fun.  I'm excited for Mia to join the fun next year.

Shadow Valley Fall Party

We celebrated fall with a fun afternoon at the neighborhood party.  Pony rides, pumpkin painting, pie eating contest and hay ride!

Student Council Project

Ansley and Ryan working hard.  So thankful that Ryan is our  neighbor.  We met her family on our cruise in March.  God knew our connection way before we did!

Everyday we make progress getting this house together.  Our move has tested me in all areas.  Our furniture was lost, some damaged, 28 boxes missing and every box I open I want to cry!  So when it begins to come together and feel a little more like home, I am thankful for the progress.   It has been the hardest move I've ever made  God is growing me in giving up control and for my seeking him daily in His plan.   I didn't take one picture of all of the boxes and stuff everywhere.  I like order and structure….I've had enough chaos to last the rest of my life!

Boo

We now live in a huge neighborhood.  The girls were so excited to Boo some of our neighbors.  They love riding their bikes and come back home exhausted from the hills!

Well Check

Ansley had her Well-Check at Dr. Cadle's office.   I am so thankful to report that she is growing perfectly.  She weighed 78lbs. (50%) and was 48.5 inches tall (50%).  She had to get 3 shots, which we were not expecting and she HATES needles.  Once it was over, she realized she was going to live! Whew!!!!  She is all set until next years flu shot.  I am so thankful for our healthy girl!

Ansley is 11

What JOY it is to celebrate this girl.  God has given us a blessing in her.  This birthday was a bit different from all of the others for her.  We moved in to our home on Oct. 3rd so you can imagine the chaos.   In her precious spirit she didn't want a party or gifts.   We celebrated her anyway! She chose Olive Garden for dinner, a Rick's Bakery Cake, and she was showered with a few new clothes, jewelry from Aunt Missie, Aunt Rita, and Nanny, a yoga ball from her sister and Alabama/Arkansas football tickets from us.   The next day we had so much fun at the football game!  This girl brings us so much joy.  These preteen years are precious.  It is so fun to watch her grow.  I know God has big plans for her!  She will accomplish big things in her life!
