Poor Girl….

Sweet Mia has had a rough couple of weeks.  She has had strep, 9 days of an antibiotic and then more strep, and a new antibiotic.   On Monday we got the call that the culture was negative so to stop the meds.   Well….guess what?  We were back at the doctor today and has strep again!  I hate that she doesn't feel good and cries because she can't go to school.   Here is a picture of her today doing her homework.   I spent the day loving my baby girl!

Sharing The LOVE

Valentine weekend Mia and S. made a trip to Grammy and  PawPaw's.  Ansley and I loved spending the weekend together.  We came home from work on Friday and found love notes and flowers waiting for us!

ooooh and then the Minonk box arrived!  YUM!!!   We sure feel the love!   Thanks G-pa and Kim for sending us Valentine's treats!

And and the LOVE kept coming! Nanny sent a box with Valentine stickers, pencils, and Floyd and Green boxes with the cutest elephant Alex and Ani bracelets!   SO LOVED!

Look Who's Sewing NOW!

Mia was so excited to show her daddy how to sew!  He immediately grabbed his favorite t-shirt that was very LOVED (worn out) and began mending!

Look what happened during our last snow day!  This girl LOVES her new talent!   Soon it will have straps and a bow.  She can't wait to carry her piano books in it!  I am thinking her sister will soon have her eye on some fabric!

Baking!

Ansley has discovered her love of baking!  She has made Oreo Balls and a Banana Cheescake Pie.  I love that she has a new hobby.  She is excited about finding recipes to try!

Sewing 101

Mia asked Santa for a sewing machine for Christmas.  She started lessons last week and LOVES learning how to sew.  She has taught me how to sew a straight stitch and rip it out! I love this girl and ALL of her different interests!

Daddy Daughter Dance 2016

Ansley making sure I got a picture of the back of her hair!  This year I took the girls for
up-do's!  They turned out beautifully, but  it was a mad dash after school to fit it all in!  Whew!

Finishing touches!

Ringing the doorbell with corsages in hand!

Beautiful flowers for his beautiful girls!

Scott has the honor of speaking at tonight's event.  Mia of course was not going to let him be the only one on stage, so she prepared a speech of her own.  She can't wait to tell the audience all about how special her daddy is!  I can't wait to hear all about it when they get home!

My precious family!

Matilda

Last weekend we saw Matilda.  It was the girls first Broadway show.  It did NOT disappoint!  I think we may be theater junkies!  What a fun way to celebrate an 11 year olds birthday.  Thanks for the invite Mary Ella!
