Introducing Christmas "Christy" Crimson

Trying to make logical sense of  this situation.  We found her sitting and wondering.

Oh the magic of Christmas.  The girls found their Elf this morning and named him before getting dressed.  They were so excited to come home after school to see if he was still there.  This little guy has prompted many questions.  Ansley:  "I know he looks plastic, but he is really real, right mama?"  "He just looks plastic because that is part of his magic".  Mia:  "Look he's wearing crimson....that's how we know he belongs to us."  Such fun!

Libby is LOVED!

Grammy and PawPaw have the best dog.  Ansley and Mia carried this dog for 5 days straight.  This was a typical view of the week!

Whale Slide

There is a great play area that the kids had fun in before we headed home.  They also got to sit on Santa's lap.....which was the highlight of the day!

Georgia Aquarium

We spent Saturday at the Georgia Aquarium, right along with the other half of Atlanta.  It was a great way to end a fabulous weekend.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving Day was beautiful in Atlanta.  We walked to the lake in Greg and Karen's neighborhood before eating a great meal.

Detour to Atlanta

This was two days before he Iron Bowl and the Quad was already prepared for tailgating!

The President's Mansion.  I love this building as it is so Southern.  On our drive to Atlanta for Thanksgiving we took a slight detour to show the girls The University of Alabama.  It was so fun to stretch our legs and see all the sights!  Mia screamed, "Go Alabama.....Roll Tide!"  Her daddy was very proud!

University of Alabama

We took some pictures outside of the football stadium.  The girls were thrilled to be at the place that is on our T.V.  We had so much fun walking around and talking "traditions".

Thankful

It is hard to believe that it is Thanksgiving week already!  We have so much to be thankful for.  May your Thanksgiving be blessed as you spend time with those you love!

Designers!

They were making their dresses to perform a dance for me!  Their little minds never stop!  I laughed so hard when they turned around!

Breakfast.....

at home.  I have been home two days with Ansley.  Today both girls stayed home to rest and recover.
Monday at dinner Ansley said her tummy hurt, on Tues. she woke up with a fever.  She felt crummy all day yesterday.  We visited Dr. Cadle, she gave her an antibiotic even though her strep test was negative.  After just one dose of meds, she was feeling better.  No fever today, so I am thinking that strep culture just may grow. I am so glad she is feeling better!

Modern Dance

This is so funny!  The girls have been dancing all week.  I can imagine them taking Modern Dance as an elective in college!

Ready to Learn!

Mia had so much fun finding letters and matching the picture!  She loves learning and is really fun to teach!  Right after this she did a dramatic dance....hmmm I wonder if she will love studying or entertaining?  Maybe both.....

Rain....Rain

Ansley and Mia headed to our neighbors to play!  It was the best walk ever, as they got to carry their umbrellas!
