These two months have been "Adjusting Months". Adjusting to manage a mindset of 20 years of not missing anything our girls were involved in, parenting through all the stages of development, and having noise and choas in our daily life to time on our hands and a QUIET house. It has been an adjustment and we miss our girls but adjusting to this next phase isn't terrible. It makes phone calls sweeter and countdowns to parents weekend greatly anticipated. If this life has taught me anything it has been to be present in every moment because it doesn't last. So I am choosing to embrace this phase, it is an adjustment but it is exactly where God needs us to be! Our girls are happy and I am so thankful that God continues to guide their steps!

August-September 2025
This was our millionth trip to Walmart!
We were greeted warmly with a "War Eagle"
The above pictures are pictures of our house staged for moving the girls to college to moving Ansley in. I took a picture of Mia pulling her car out of our driveway one last time before she started her college life.
Then....All the Sharplesses were in Auburn TOGETHER again. Then it was time to move in Mia!
Our girl is ready to take on the world and to make her mark in College. To say we are proud of her is an understatement. Her room turned out cute like a little piece of home in Alabama.
Back to AP's to put their couch together, and a final hug for Mia before heading out. I headed to AR, Scott to the beach for the week before we saw our girls for Bid Day!
Sugar, Millie and I at home for a whole week. The girls room's were empty and CLEAN! I was wishing for a little messy and a some chaos!
Back to school for me! Day one of the 25-26 school year!
At the end of the week the puppies got to go to the puppy resort! We got reports and lots of updates!
The result of our hard work of moving our children! An EMPTY storage unit.
Back for Bid Day! Mia ran home to Alpha Gam. She was welcomed with open arms and so much love! Praying she develops friendships that last a lifetime!
Our stop on the drive home......The peach store! YUM!
First day of school for our girls. They are prayed for daily. I know God has big plans for them. May they give him ALL the glory in their lives!
These two are wondering what in the world happened to our family?!!! Where is all the noise and activity? They may be a little tired of ALL the attention.
These sweet girls visit often and it makes us SMILE! Thankful for the families that our girls babysat! Now we get to get lots of hugs!
It's Football Season!
This just makes my heart smile!!! My girls are together again!
It has been hours projects around these parts! Front door repainted and a truck load of dirt hauled and spread in the yard!
Ansley sharing the news that she got accepted into NURSING SCHOOL first round. ! So proud of her hard work!
This girl shining bright!
The sunrise on my way to school! God creates beautiful skies!
A picture of Ansley at the game!
Who misses AP and Mimi! "I do"!
