Mom and Mia

Mia is now about 36 hours old. Both Mia and mom are doing great. She is learning to eat and has been a great sleeper so far. Hopefully everyone gets to go home tomorrow.

Ansley is a Big Fan of her "Baby Sister". She likes pointing out all of her facial features - eyes, nose, mouth, ears.... Sheila, Ansley, and Mia are all doing well.

We have been blessed to have Grammy here to help us out. This is her first introduction to Mia. An instant fan i must add!

It's A.............Girl

God has blessed our family with a beautiful baby girl. Mia Scott entered the world at 11:11am this morning weighing 9lbs 12oz and 21 inches long. Sheila and Mia are both doing great. My wife is incredible and I am truly blessed to have her in my life. Ansley is doing great and continues to say " Baby Sister" . She has given many kisses to Mia.

Final Baby In Tummy Update!

Today we went and completed all of the pre-op labs/paperwork for our new baby arriving tomorrow! We have another slight schedule change. Our time has moved up to 9:30 a.m. We can't wait to meet our baby! Next post will be a photo! Dr. Seale had her baby boy on Friday, July 20th.

Baby in Tummy Update!

I just got back from my final dr. appt. before the big day! I am 38 weeks and 1 day, the baby's heart rate was in the 130's. I am measuring perfectly but making no progress for this little one to enter the world! Dr. Hinton said my babies only like to be born via c-section! Good thing we are scheduled for Tues. or I just might have cried today! Just 5 days to go! Whew!!!

6 Days......And Counting!

I am SO ready to meet this little one in my tummy! Sleeping has become a true challenge! I think it is God's way to prepare for being up in the middle of the night with a newborn! We have our final dr. appt. tomorrow. I'll keep you posted!

Baby Update!

Today marks my 37th week of baby in tummy! We just got back from our appt. and this little one likes where he/she is (no change at all)! Heart rate in the 140's again today! We do have a scheduling change though.....Dr. Seale is 35 weeks pregnant and on BEDREST! So our little one will enter the world with Dr. Partridge on July 24th around 12:00 pm. Just a little glitch in our plan! We are so excited to meet this little baby! I am ready for some rest.....13 days to go!

Today Ansley had a grape slush from Sonic! It was a special treat after having to have a blood draw for allergies! She was a very big girl!

We had our baby in tummy check-up today! Baby is growing perfectly...the heart rate was in the 140's! This one sure keeps us guessing! I asked Dr. Seale if I was dilated or anything her reply was, "That is laughable, that baby is so high and likes to be in your tummy!" I was thinking, just like his/her big sister! I didn't think Ansley would ever enter the world! So....with that said there is very little chance I will have our little one before our scheduled C-section date! 2 weeks and 6 days to go! I am ready!
