Little Chef!

Ready to cook!

It's Official!

Ansley was giving her baby sister a hug! She takes such good care of Mia.

Oh my, she may fall asleep standing up!

We are back in our "school groove"! The girls are so tired after school on Thursdays, it's enough to lobby for a 4 day work week! We are off to a great start! The girls start in their new classes on Monday!

Mia was waiting her turn to swing! She had lots of paint on her shirt from her artwork!

Light On

Mia loves the cause and effect of the light switch. After school yesterday she said, "Mommy, Kaden turned the light off, it was dark!" I love this age of discovery.

Pure Joy!

Hard at Work!

Ansley and Mia love to draw and write! I love to look at them really concentrate!

Princess Day!

This was the final week of camp for the girls this summer. The last two weeks they have studied the Caribbean and have done fun activities. One day was a Princess Pirate Tea! Ansley has loved learning about the ocean, animals, and how important it is we take care of our Earth. Mia mostly loved splash day! This is the marker for us that the new year is quickly approaching. The girls will meet their new teachers at an ice-cream social on the 22nd and begin in their new classes on the 24th. We are looking forward to a great year!

A Box Arrives!

I love this picture of Mia "reading" her card!

The best part is taking the paper out to see what's inside!

Tonight the girls got to open a box from Grammy and PawPaw! This is always a favorite! Mia felt like it was her birthday again! Thank you!!!! Here are just a few shots of the event, my computer is "screaming" at me that I have very little memory left and won't store anymore photos! Uh-oh, time for a bigger hard-drive! ;-)

Goofy Girl!

Notice the blueberry in her tooth!

Remember when we were little and our parents told us that our faces would stick when we did this?! Ansley had so much fun making silly faces this morning I had to capture it on camera! By the way, I didn't tell her her face would stick!

Making a List!

Whenever Mia writes she says, "My make a list, Mommy." Here she was showing her work! We have enjoyed our last full week of no schedule! I think school starts too early!

Texas Motor Speedway!

For Father's Day the girls got daddy a NASCAR driving experience. So this past weekend we headed to Dallas and a ton of fun was had by all! Enjoy the photos!

Ready to Ride!

Scott was listening carefully to the instructions! Then he enjoyed a 167 mph ride!

He's Got The Need For Speed!

Scott did a 3 lap ride-a-long, and then an 8 lap driving experience! He loved it! Here are some photos of the drive alone!

Daddy's Biggest Fans!

We were cheering so loud! I think we would make a great NASCAR family! Just Kidding, Scott- don't change your career!

Hotel Fun!

These girls loved staying in the hotel. The pool and elevator were huge hits!

Two- Year- Old Well Check!

I am so happy to report that we have a healthy toddler! She had her well-baby check and she weighs 27 lbs. (50%) and is 35 in. (50%) tall. She is meeting all of the developmental milestones for her age. She is exceeding in the verbal area! She talks constantly and makes us laugh with her sweet personality! I am so glad God has blessed us with this beautiful girl! He knew just what our family needed when he gave us this sweet girl!
