Family Hike!

To help pass the time on Saturday, before the Alabama game, we decided to go on a hike. We found a new state park near where we live. We love that about this area, there are so many pretty places!

Before heading home on Sunday, we spent some time in this really cool play place! The kids loved it!

A Visit To Columbia!

This weekend we visited the Thome family in their new home. The kids had a ball playing in the pool. We love that they are closer, I am sure we will make many more trips that direction!

Ansley was practicing her "dip" this is a gymnastic move on the beam, here she is trying it out on the fireplace. Mia wanted to jump off, so Ans "saved her" by lifting her! This is a favorite big sister move, she loves to pick her sister up! Then, I couldn't resist a few close-ups. We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Making Music!

After drawing, the girls turned their markers into flutes! They were playing music and having a competition who's was longest! I love their imaginations!

First Day of School!

I tried to get a cute "together" shot of the girls this morning but only had one participant! Oh well, this will mark their first day of the 2009-2010 school year. Both girls started in their new classrooms today, it was a rocky drop off, but the rest of the day went well! Happy Monday!

Promotion Sunday!

Today was Promotion Sunday at church. Ansley got to go to Sunday School and Children's Church. Mia is still hanging out in the nursery, and loves it! We are so glad to belong to a church that has so many children activities that help our girls learn to live for Jesus!

Still Summer

Yesterday the girls ran through the sprinklers in the back yard! Ansley announced that she wanted the water to be warmer! We are still having summer fun!

Listening to Crickets!

Before school on Friday, the girls were outside listening to crickets! I love their expressions. Sometimes, it is totally worth getting up so early! I am glad we didn't miss this opportunity. What a great way to start the last day of the week!
