Is He Still There???

Oh Yes.....another hug from Santa! Ansley told him all about us seeing his reindeer last night. We went for a car ride near the lake and saw lots of deer. This morning she wanted to tell Santa all about it.....so we went for another visit!

Birthday Cake!

This morning the girls and I ran to Rick's to pick up the birthday cake.....we couldn't leave without a special treat!

Cutie Pies!

It looks lie Mia is getting ready to kick her sisty, she didn't....she was dancing!

Mimi thought she was so funny falling on the floor instead of standing by the tree for a photo! Just after two days of break, I have all of the sweet treat baking finished, presents purchased and wrapped, and am enjoying all of the Christmas cheer! All of Scott's family will be here on Wednesday, so tomorrow and Tuesday I will finish getting everything ready for their arrival! I love Christmas week!

So Funny!

This is so funny....after church today we got in "comfy" clothes and I threw my hair up in a pony. As soon as I did that I had two little girls with bands in their hands for ponies in their hair too! It makes me realize that my girls are always watching me and want to do what I do. Today I recommit myself to being the best role model I can be for these precious girls!

"Hey Santa.....

I know how to spell your name!" This was Ansley's turn to sit on his lap!

Mia Loves Santa!

This time to change it up a bit, I had the girls sit on his lap separately. Here was Mia's turn!

Happy Birthday Dear.....

Santa?!? This was so funny, the girls were waiting and they were singing Happy Birthday to Santa! I think they were a little confused that we celebrate Jesus' birthday at Christmas. Regardless, when it was their turn they ran to him and gave him his pictures they made.

She's Making a List.....

First thing this morning the girls asked to go see Santa.....again! So they colored pictures and Ansley wrote his name. We finished breakfast and headed out. Not a bad way to start our vacation.

Last Day!

Today was our last day in school before a two week break. This was a big day for our family as the girls will begin at a new school in Jan. I am so thankful for the experiences they have had at Helen Walton. There are many people there that have touched our lives and loved our girls, for that we will always be grateful!

Merry Christmas Week!

We celebrate birthday week at our house for every birthday, so we thought it would be appropriate to have Birthday Week for Jesus' birthday! We are so looking forward to some time at home. I think I have officially shifted from "school mode" to "Christmas mode" today! May each of you enjoy your week!

Mia's School Program

Mia with Ms. Bobbi-what a blessing she has been to our children!

Little Miss October

Look at those precious folded hands. Ms. Carla was encouraging them to sing!

Happy, happy girl!

Tonight we enjoyed the girls Christmas programs at school. What fun! Mia's class theme was the 12 months of the year, and we got a calendar featuring a photo of her dressed for all of the months! She loves her friends and teachers. We are so thankful that she has had such a great experience!

Ansley's Program

Ansley with her teacher and best friend!

Ansley's class performance!

Our little performer.

Their class sang seven songs with motions, she sang her little heart out this year!

Merry Christmas!

Hmmmm....What Hudgin's Boy Should I Choose?

So Pretty!

Mia wanted her hair in a piggy and then she said, "so pretty"

Showing off her craft. They had so much fun this morning making these!

The mouse is supposed to have a candy cane tail, but the girls wanted to eat it! Ans, was so proud of her work!

Cookies With Santa

Last night at my school the girls enjoyed cookies with Santa. Of course we made a stop by my room. Ansley LOVED the pencil sharpener. They drew pictures and loved being big girls.

Loving Santa!

Mia was checking out his beard! We enjoyed, Santa, cookies, a craft and caroling!

Which way to the guy in the red suit? What a fun event!

Pure Joy!

Mia had so much fun decorating her cookie, just when she thought she was finished she realized she needed green sugar!
