Trade You

Ansley collected a bunch of her toys and gave them to Mia.  Mia in turn gave Ansley a bunch of her toys!  Now they can't find any of their stuff!

I was making dinner and the girls were playing.  I'm not quite sure of where the headband came from, but she sure makes a cute Hippie!

Twinkies!

The question, "Who loves Twinkies?"  This girl has her Mama's pallet!

"Do I really eat this?"  "Maybe I'll pretend it's a phone!"

Mia wasn't a huge fan!  She liked the first bite!

Ansley's left overs!

Circus Comes To Town!

Mia tried this trick too, she was hanging by her pant leg when she fell off the bleachers.  She was on the bottom row and the only thing injured was the popcorn!  Whew....I hope our girls never run off to join the circus!

We arrived early so we played at the park beside the Big Top!  My friend Lindsey was kind enough to join us!  We loved spending "girl time" at the Circus!

The girls loved the pony rides before the big event!

There were jugglers, clowns, cotton candy and popcorn.  A fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Mia Center of the Show!

Ansley's Birthday Dinner

I forgot that S. took the camera on Ansley's Fancy Dinner Date for her birthday!  I loved "finding" these today!

A Few Months Back!

I just downloaded pictures from the camera in my purse.  Here are a few of them with the girls enjoying a train ride and ice-cream after school one day! I also found a couple of them in swim class!

Ruff....Ruff

Crab races!  They were giggling so hard, they couldn't get far!

Mia loves pretending to be a puppy.  Here her Lovie was a tail

Living Room Gymnastics

Ready for a cartwheel!

Handstand on the wall!  I remember Missie and I watching T.V. from this position when we were little!

Big girl!

Happy Weekend!

Lots of morning love!

Each week the girls have a "letter of the week".  On Friday's it is show and tell, so the kids have to bring an object with that weeks letter.  Today they handed out "kisses".

Daddy's Girl!

I love this picture!  Our girl growing up, but still filled with love for her daddy!

Packing Shoe Boxes!

The girls were packing shoe boxes tonight.  We love this ministry  and pray the little kids that receive them will feel the love we packed inside!

More Beauty Pictures!

Mia showing me her new hair cut!  She didn't have enough to donate, but is very happy with her trim!

The best part of a haircut is the treat when it's over.  The girls have free  choice in Ms. Kim's candy jar!

Ms. Kim was very proud of Ansley.  When she cut her hair she said, "Now there's our girl".  She had done this cut on Ans hundreds of times when she was little.

Final touch!

A Big Moment for a Little Girl with a Big Heart!

The story that ended in this moment was told about a year and a half ago.  One night I was combing Ansley's hair, and I told her about when I worked at Children's and there were little kids that were going through cancer treatment and they didn't have any hair.  I told her about how big their smiles were when they got their wigs.  I let her know that she could grow her hair long and then donate it so she could make someone else smile! She was immediately interested and has had the goal of 8 inch ponytails ever since!  Tonight my heart over flowed with love as she got her hair cut for someone else.  I am so proud of her giving spirit and know God will use her in wonderful ways as she grows.

Thursday Morning!

Daddy has it made in the mornings....no, he doesn't get to seep in with breakfast in bed, but he sure gets lots of love and his shoes shined!  I'm not sure there is a better way to start the day!

I had to take a few pictures of the girls long hair this morning.  After school we had big plans for haircuts!

Oops!

I was getting ready to do my mid-week post and deleted an entire file of pictures from my camera! So what you missed was the girls opening their Halloween cards from Grandpa and Kim, and Ansley loosing her second tooth.  And yes, there was a sign for Mia's door and all of the hoopla of the tooth fairy!  I will take more pictures tomorrow and post some!  I hope you all are having a great week!
