Laundry Control!

The best way for me to not have the girls change their clothes 100 times a day is to have them help with all of their laundry!  Tonight they hung all their pieces on hangers and put them away! Sure helps them become aware of ALL of their clothes and the laundry fairy LOVES the help!

Cute Tootsies!

New shoes,officially ready for Summer!

Kindergarten Registration Today!

It is hard to believe that our girl is headed off to kindergarten in the Fall.  Today  S. took her to register and she completed the  K-screening.  She is sooooo ready and asks me every day, how much longer until Fall!   We had a difficult decision deciding which school she would go to, our neighborhood school or the one where I teach.  After lots of prayer and discussion, she will join all the other big kids from our neighborhood and attend our neighborhood school.  She saw lots of her friends during registration and can't wait for this next step.  Mia cried her eyes out because Ans wasn't at her school this morning, all I kept thinking is, "Just wait until she goes to college!"  That was the loneliest year of my life, when my sister went to college and left me behind!

Good Morning Sleepy Heads!

Eagle Nest!

This is a cool view of baby eagle's in a nest in Iowa.  It is so fun to watch them.  Yesterday afternoon, Kim called and told us about them.  I wanted to share, it is amazing to see these creatures up close!  I think when I am retired and my own baby birds are out of the "nest", I could be one of those old ladies that bird watches and takes pictures *stop laughing* I am kinda serious!

Easter Bunny!

These girls love the Easter Bunny!  We love the memories!

Parents Night Out!

On Friday after school, we got pj's on and packed a dinner so girls could go back to their school to watch a movie with their friends!  This is a great service they do for parents once a month!  S. and I enjoyed dinner with some friends!  Great start to the weekend!

Thank You Roses!

Daddy came home with an arm full of roses for us!  He readily admitted  they were from his boss as a thank you to us because he has been working on a project that has consumed some late nights!  How sweet of her to recognize his time away from his family!   We LOVE flowers so it was the perfect gesture!

Egg Hunt.....Unplanned!

We woke up to our Easter tree tipped over and eggs in the yard on Friday morning.  We had a storm during the night and stirred things up!  It also brought cold temps, and just when I thought the warm weather was here to stay!

Early Morning Project

Ansley personalized Ms. Amanda's going away gift this morning!
Ansley and I have been working on a project for her teachers.  Ms. Amanda's last day was today, so she had to put the finishing touches on her gift at 6:00 this morning!

Easter Fun!

Mia loves playing with Easter eggs!  Yesterday she hid them for Ansley to find. She sorts them and dumps and picks them up!  These have been a fun toy!

The girls helped me put flower pots together for their teachers!  We added candy,  a packet of flowers, and a Cheeto filled bag, to look like a carrot!  I loved the help and the conversation as we worked together!  Our girls are growing up!

Mia's job was to add a chocolate bunny to the baskets!

Ansley counted candy for her teacher baskets!  I loved the help!

More egg fun!
