Easter Week

What a blessing that this week April 16, 2014, Mia asked Jesus into her heart!   I know God has big plans for this precious child.

Stopping to Smell the Flowers

We had to bring in the flowers because it was going to freeze.  Mia was on her way to the shower and had to stop and admire them!  Love this girl.

I sure wish I could sew!

Mia was pretending to be Elsa, she tied a blanket for a cape.

The girls got more creative and tied a plastic table cloth for a cape.  Mia was Elsa before she was a queen and Ansley was Elsa after she was a queen.

Ms. Natalie comes to join in on a evening of fun with the Queens.

Nature Club

My girls and their Green Genes!  Mia and a couple of friends on the playground created a Nature Kids' Club.  They collected nature trash on the playground and made stuff from it, then each girl got to bring it home to share.  After one rotation the bag smelled so bad that their backpacks stunk, the club dissolved.   However, here is Mia shown her wind chime made from a stick.

In the name of Jesus

On Wednesday Night, Mission Friends, the girls' teacher encouraged them to serve someone that serves us.  So they gave a bottle of water and a bag a candy to our garbage man.  I'm not sure who felt better, the girls giving or the man receiving.

Perfect Ending to a Perfect Day

After roasted hot dogs and s'mores for dinner, we got the girls to bed and watched the ACM awards outside listening to the fall of rain.   What a great weekend we have had!  I feel recharged for the week ahead.

S-P-R-I-N-G

Having lived in the South most of my adult life I have learned a few things.   First, you must plant your flowers by Master's Week….it starts tomorrow, so I spent the afternoon planing my pots.   This also marks the week of warmer weather and everything blooming!  I am thankful for this time of year!  I can't wait to watch the tournament this week….it is my favorite week of golf.
