Mia's gift from JAE

Mia created this piece of pottery as a gift to us this year.  I love that her precious hands worked so hard on this gift.  Mrs. Ligon (JAE art teacher) sure knows how to touch a parents heart.

Mia in Children's Church

Always such joy to watch the children's choir at church.  Second graders blessed us with Christmas music and cheer.  So thankful that Mia has the opportunity to perform in front of our Pastor's Bible Study and worship Jesus.

Precious

So honored that Mark was able to be a part of this journey.

Blessed

Today was a day filled with blessings.  As parents, we desire for our children to love God with all of their hearts.   We were thrilled when in April 2014, on a Wednesday evening,  Mia asked Jesus in her heart.  Then after VBS this summer, Ansley asked Jesus in her heart.  They both attended the new christians class and continue to learn and grow in the love of our Savior.   Today was the day they got to profess their faith in front of our church.   We are filled with love for the life God continues to show us on earth.   What a blessing knowing this is not our home, but we will spend eternity with our Heavenly Father.  I'm not sure there is a more secure feeling as a parent.

A visit with Santa

Making reindeer food!  It is hard to believe its getting close!

Mia listening to Santa read 'Twas The Night Before Christmas
We had a nice brunch and a visit with Santa this morning!  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Fairy Dust

It has been a dream for Ansley to lose a tooth at school….well yesterday it finally happened!  She pulled it herself!  She was so excited.  Here she is sprinkling Fairy Dust before bed!

Grandpa and Kim Visit

We even got to have breakfast with Santa this morning before they left!   What a fun weekend!  Thanks for making the trip and the memories!

It was so much fun having Grandpa and Kim visit and get to do some special Christmas stuff with us.   They watched the JAE 2nd and 3rd graders perform their music concert.

Oh how we love Caroline.  She will soon be our neighbor and I see lots of girly play dates in our future!

Mia showing Gpa and Kim her classroom!  She was so proud.

Mia especially loves finding Christy every morning!  This day she was particularly happy because he was part of the family!

Mr. Tannen's Tie Trouble

All 2nd graders got to wear a tie with the story theme this week!  So much fun.  Can you tell our girl is proud to wear one of daddy's ties?!?
