Mia's Birthday Party!

Mia celebrated her birthday with friends at a hotel in town.  Ansley and I were great party planners!   The girls swam, played a few games and had a scavenger hunt!   I am so thankful for sweet friends in our girls' lives!

Mia Turns 12!!!

Birthday Mani-

It is so hard to belive that our Mimi is 12!  She continues to fill our days with joy and activity!   She has a heart for others and truly loves people and animals (especially her dog).  She always brings a smile to our faces and we are usually laughing with her or at something funny she has done.   God has big plans for this girl.  It has been so much fun watching her grow.  I cannot wait to see what this year holds for our little girl!  We are so blessed that God chose her to complete our family!

A Day at the Blue Slide!

It wouldn't be summer if we didn't spend the afternoon at the Blue Slide in MO.   We had a fun day of a picnic lunch, sliding and of course the giant ice-cream cones at the end!

Physical Therapy

Mia spent 2-3 days a week in PT this summer.   She has a condition where her knee grows in and her knee cap gets "off track".  The cure is building up her quad.  She had a great therapist and put in a lot of hard work!  No more knee pain!

What a great season!  This sport is still one of my favorites to watch.  The girls missed city meet again this year b/c of cheer camp!  It is a great sport to keep everyone in shape over the summer!

We love summer days to just be at home!  There weren't very many of those this year, but it is always a welcome when there is one!
