6 Weeks Old!

Ansley is 6 weeks old and recognizes voices! She loves her daddy to talk to her! It is so sweet to see her smile!

Thought we would try out the highchair for breakfast! (It will be a few months before she gets to try food!)

We had another great day today! Ansley is such a blessing. Thanks Aunt Lydia for the swing, it is one of Ansley's favorites! She also likes looking in the mirror. She really is growing up right before our eyes. It won't be long and she will not be able to wear some of her clothes!

Ansley is growing before our eyes! She is now 4 weeks old and so much fun! Today was picture day and she was getting tired of all the flash!

Ansley has now graduated to the big girl spa. She enjoys every second of her bath. At times she even falls asleep. She has such a hard life!

Ansley is getting excited about this weekend. Grandpa Duane and Kim will be arriving this evening and spending the weekend with us. This will be their first trip to Northwest Arkansas. Duane does not realize it yet but he will inherit diaper duty all weekend long (those should be good pictures).

We continue to be blessed with having such a good baby. She continues to be a great eater and sleeper. We have our fingers crossed that this does not change.

For all of our friends and family that check this site daily, sorry for no new pictures yesterday! We had a busy day as Ansley went to her well baby check-up. She is growing....her weight is 8lbs. 9oz. and she grew 1/4 of an inch and is now 21 inches long! She seemed to like the dr. visit, but had to get labs drawn and cried real tears for the first time! It took everything I had not to join her ! Poor thing! We are glad to report that God gave us a healthy baby!

Today is Sunday, October 23rd. Ansley is 16 days old and a great baby! Last night she slept a solid 7 hours! Scott and I are getting lots of rest and are feeling very blessed as we like our sleep too! We are still in awe of this incredible miracle.
