Cozy

So the girls love to "camp" in their beds! All this really means is they sleep in their sleeping bags! They are so cozy that the only problem is it is really hard to wake up! Here is the PROOF!

Daddy had two helpers making lunch today! After naps we have our family photo session. Yep, it is storming and they are going to be outside! I hope we can make this work! It will probably consist of Mia putting her hands on her ears crying and S. and I frazzled, with Ansley smiling at it all! Wish us luck as we capture another memory!

10 o'clock on a Saturday Night

I have always wanted a red kitchen, and last night I finally got one! Seriously, when we painted the kitchen in Atlanta, I begged for red.....thank goodness that didn't work out because the space was small! Since living in our house I thought that the back wall of our kitchen would look really good red........

.......and one paint chip later and an amazing husband that is really good at painting......

I have a red kitchen! I love it!!!

Always Thinking

She still loves books! Yesterday we had to run some errands so she packed a few books for the car ride. She re-tells a story she has heard, or will look at the pictures and make up the story. She is ALWAYS the teacher and tells her sister, "snip snap hands in your lap"! I hope she always loves to learn!

Ansley always has a look of concentration! She is trying to figure something out all of the time! She often wants to spell words, or find out how something works! She is such a joy!

All Personality!

Mia is so proud when she gets herself dressed, puts her shoes on, or goes to the potty! She truly is growing up so quickly! She talks non-stop and lets the world know when she is happy or sad! She uses very grown up words such as, "actually and disgusting". I couldn't resist posting a few pictures of our little bright light!

New Game

Ansley was making up the rules to a new game. Sweet Mia followed along as directed! Mia even got to win......the rules changed as they went! Notice they are putting butterflies in their shoes!

Wild Wednesday!

Sweet Mia is happy and feeling better again! Yay....it has been a long couple of weeks!

Ansley was so happy to get a card from Tyler in the mail. It is hard to believe he will be headed to Clemson in the fall! She has put his announcement and picture with her treasures in her room!

Mr. James brought berry bread for us to try. We will buy some at the store, it was yummy! The girls took a break from riding their bikes and scooter to have a snack!

Miss Independent!

Ansley loves to do things all by herself! She is really growing up. So here she was mailing Nanny's Mother's Day card (as you know Nan, it's late)! She had a million questions about how it starts in our mailbox and gets all the way to Nanny's! She is very much a forward thinker!

Home Today!

Mia had a fever all day yesterday so we are spending the day at home. We will go back to the Dr. today to make sure here ear is clear and her lungs sound better. Poor little turkey! She has carried her Lovie every where and is certain that it makes her feel better! Maybe she is on the mend!

Mother's Day 2010

I finally planted our garden! Ansley and I spent some good mommy-daughter time together and picked out all of the things we wanted to grow! I so enjoyed spending time with her.

For Mother's Day I had a sick little one! Sweet Mia didn't feel good at all. She got lots of rest and lots of love! I hope she feels better soon. I love my girls to pieces and am so thankful for them!
