Easter Morning 2016

The bunny found us!   The girls were left candy, and lots of treats for our cruise!   They even got cute little ducklings and of course a chocolate bunny!

Ella Kate's Baptism

What a blessing it was for us to witness Ella Kate's  Baptism.  The Freeman's have a special place in our hearts and our family.  They moved from H'ville almost two years ago, to Bradenton, FL.  God had a plan for us to see them on this very special occasion.  We got to go to Easter Service and see Troy baptize his precious girl at their home church.  What a gift to love our friends and celebrate with them.  We are so happy we got to worship our Risen Savior with them!

A daddy's love!

Even though we are separated by miles….these girls will ALWAYS be close in their hearts!    Emma Grace and Ella Kate are LOVED!

Nice Weather = Outside Play

We finally got some sunny weather so both girls were ready to get out and PLAY!   Rollerblades and Basketball!

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2016

That sneaky Leprechaun escaped without his button again this year!

Rainbow earrings at the end of the rainbow!

Treats were left behind!

JAZZ Pictures!

In preparation for recital season, pictures were taken today!  So, I am not a great "Dance Mom"  we made it on time with a little blush and lipstick, dressed and ready to go.  However, almost everyone else spent lots of time with their hair and make-up and brought in garment bags with all of their dance wear, and suitcases for hair and make-up!  Oh well, we had a little extra time playing outside!

Grandpa and Kim Visit

We are so excited when Grandpa and Kim visit!  We were all spoiled with the BEST Candy ever!  The girls got to open their Easter Egg with their special surprise.  This year they were filled with jellybeans and hoop earrings!  So fun!

We spent yesterday at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.  We learned a lot about the cars and Grandpa got to

I love this picture of my dad!  He is taking in all of the beauty of the car!

This was an interesting new exhibit!  In March, 2014 a sinkhole swallowed part of the museum.  Cars fell 40 feet and some damaged beyond repair.  They have marked the outline of the boarders of the sinkhole and have made a viewing window to see how deep the whole opened up.  There is a cavern under the ground here, and when it shifted it created a huge hole.  They have made it part of the display.  It was unbelievable to see the damage to these cars.  Amazingly, this happened at 5 am and was caught on their security cameras, but no one was working or visiting at that time.

This was the new Corvette in 1988….the year I graduated high school!

This is similar to my dad's 1st car.  His was dark green.  I love the style of the cars of the 50's and 60's.

This Screams 1980's

The girls LOVED the "cranking" window openers and the NO SEATBELT bench seating!

Next door to the museum is a collection of old cars!  We had so much fun looking at all of them.  So many of them were in perfect condition with original  parts.   I LOVED the steering wheel on this one!  Classic!
