| Jesse Advent Tree This year we are starting a new tradition. We are going through the Bible leading up to Jesus' birth. So for the next 25 days we will read a story from the Bible and hang an ornament on the tree that represents that story. Today was Gen.1:1 "God created heaven and Earth." The ornament was a globe. We are looking forward to continuing this each year. What a great way to celebrate all that God has promised. |

| Aunt Lydia sends the girls a Chocolate advent calendar each year! This is a favorite. They love counting down until Christmas. As I have reflected on our family traditions this year, we have many. I love sharing the Joy of the Season, and pray that our girls are filled with the fun and magic, but also their hearts are always grounded in Jesus' birth. So the above traditions are part of what we do and here is a list of others: Christmas trees in each of their rooms. Nanny, Grandpa and Kim all give ornaments each year to hang on their trees. The girls LOVE going through each one and talking about their memories.
