August is coming to an end. Time continues to fly. I started my 27th year of teaching, Ansley started her Junior year and Mia her Sophomore year. Mia is full in on her 2nd year of tennis at. BHS, we had a major back yard renovation. Ansley and I made a quick trip to Minonk, we had 4 days of reconnecting and fun. We got to meet Mollie Sue, G.pa and Kim's new puppy (Millie and Sugar's sister). It's always fun seeing Yeti and Maple. We visited a new coffee shop in m Minonk and saw the St Jude run. Scott and Mia went to a Dirks Bentley concert. My classroom got set up all ready for this year's students. Then last weekend we listened to the Morgan Wallen concert from the parking lot. SOLD OUT concert in less than an hour. Mia was happy to breathe the same air as him. It was fun watching her LOVE every song. It's always a little bitter sweet when Summer comes to an end. Praying for the best school year for our girls. Soaking up every second of them growing up!
