All the Cousins!

This is pretty much what we did for 5 days, I'm not sure it gets any better!

Summer Fun!

Daddy and the kids floating down the lazy river

Here they come!

Mia loved this fountain in the baby pool!

Here they go again, with S. leading the way!

Beach Trip 2010

S. loved the slide as much as the girls! That thing was fast!

Again....let's go down the slide again!

Mia being a "ham" for the camera. Here are a few random pictures of our first day at the beach. We had so much fun catching up with Scott's family.

July 4th, 2010

Our family after we watched amazing fireworks after the game! What a great way to celebrate the 4th!

Throwing the Ball!

Here are a few action shots of Richard throwing the ball. Wow!!! I didn't see the ball after it left his hand. He is amazing to watch. I should have shot video, b/c the only way you knew the catcher had it in his glove was because you heard the smack. I know he has worked so hard to get to this level of playing ball, and he loves it so much! I'm very proud of him! I still think of him as my "baby cousin" I guess he is all grown up now! We figured out the last time I watched him play ball he was on a traveling team for the Louisville Storm, when he was 11 or 12 years old! He was a great pitcher then too! We will certainly catch a game again soon! We love you Richard, thanks for making this game so special for us!

Before the Game!

I love this picture, Richard was signing autographs for the kids!

A picture with the girls, he was so gracious.

Our plan was to get to the game early to watch all of the warm-ups. Unfortunatly, Mia had to go to the ER (she had strep throat, and needed medicine). So we made it in time to say "hello" right before the game started! There is never a dull moment with our family! Mia was 100% the next day and enjoyed our entire vacation!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game....AGAIN!

A few pictures of the ballpark.

Richard in the bullpen before the game.

The scoreboard before the game. We had seats right behind home plate! What a fun event for our family! This has been a summer of baseball and we have loved it!

Connecting With Family!

Richard watching the game from the bullpen.

A couple of little girls who became instant fans! They LOVE Richard! I am pretty certain they thought of him like Reed and Cole.

I couldn't resist posting this photo, I love my maiden name and love it even more in print!

So, pretty last minute I thought I would check Richards ball schedule as we go right through Jackson, MS on our way to the beach. It worked out perfectly that we were able to meet him for breakfast the day of the game and watch his team play ball! It was so good to see him and catch up. Ansley was an instant fan and wanted to sit on his lap, I am very grateful for these big boys to love our girls so much! They're such good sports!

Movie Night!

Tonight we learned a huge lesson about taking care of our toys.....we went to see Toy Story 3! A great movie about making memories with toys and growing up! The girls got a poster that they hung immediately in their rooms. I'm sure we will be talking about this one for weeks.

Oh So Tired....

Mia was trying to refuel, she swims so hard and gets so tired, she BEGS for a nap!

More Swimming....

Trying the slide backwards, she looks maybe a little concerned, but I assure you her smile was HUGE when she flew out the bottom!

Pre-hop jump!

New Canvas....

Ansley came up with this idea all on her own, the girls loved drawing with texture this morning!

Good Morning!

We had another gorgeous morning! The girls wanted breakfast outside!

We made red, white, and blue fruit parfaits!

Celebrating the 4th of July

Today the girls took cookies to share with their class. They wore Red, White and Blue to help celebrate our Country's Birthday! We love celebrating birthday's so this is a fun holiday for us!

Little Sunshine Playschool and Preschool a.k.a. Castle School

Here is a picture of the girls school. I take photos of everything so someday they will be able to look back and remember the events in their lives. They started attending this school in January and I am just now taking a photo! Oh well, at least I got one! They love going to school and are learning so much. We are very blessed to have such great teachers in their lives!

After Naps Yesterday....

Mia read a book,

Ansley tied this shoe,

and Ans gave Mia a piggyback ride....well, kind of! We are enjoying our week at home. Our summer schedule was so needed. The girls still go to school 2 days a week, but on our days at home we sleep in, swim, and just have fun! I am very thankful for a job that allows us to completely shift our pace.

Hippity and Hoppity

Today was feeding day! After dinner they got to feed them four tiny pebbles of food, it was the highlight of the evening!

Here Mia was saying, "Good Morning Hippity and Hoppity, do you like your new home?" It was so sweet!

She would have crawled in if she could have!
