Mommy and Mia Day

I love how she is always using her imagination…..here she is just like Elsa from frozen in gloves so she isn't so powerful!

We went to the Vera Bradley store and she purchased a new purse.  She was lucky enough to check out with the manager, and when he asked her if she did well in school, and she replied, "Yes, Sir"  he GAVE her the wallet to match!  Wow…..she couldn't stop talking about how nice that was!

I love that she is still my snuggler!   She purchased this super soft  elephant that she will forever sleep with.   She named her Elsa "Elie" Sharpless!  She talked with her the whole way home about how lucky she was that now Elie was part of our family.   Precious!

So in the last month I have been blessed to spend an entire Saturday with each of our girls individually!  What a treat that is for me.   I love hearing all about "just them" and their perspective on our lives at at the current moment.   I'm not sure why I didn't take pictures of my time with Ansley a few weeks back…..maybe because the girl shopped me to exhaustion. :)   Anyway, I am one blessed Mama!   I love these girls to pieces!

Leprechaun Trap…..

You can just see the creativity oozing from this project!

Fun with daddy making her trap

No luck again this year…..we didn't catch the lil' fella!  Mia's class built shiny, creative traps to try to capture the leprechaun.  We gave it a dry run last night and no such luck!  He did visit though, b/c he left his hat, button, and pot of gold!  He also poured the girls Lucky Charms in some fun hats!

Girls discovering their treat this morning!  I love  that they have so much fun with simple things!

Thanks Nanny!

These girls LOVE their new sleep over bags!  Thanks Nanny for sending love!  We miss you!

My Precious Gymnist

Just like Nadia…..

These girls are always dancing or leaping!  I want to always remember these moments!

My Girl!

Some things you can't teach!  Ansley was so excited with her new bag, look how organized it is!  She is so much like her mommy!

Hopefully our LAST snow of the season!

Hoping that our 2 week ago weather was the final snow of the season!  It was cold! Another day home from school!

We spent out day baking and making dinner!  It was fun to all be in the kitchen working together!  Love making memories!

The second graders were given an African American person to complete  research and  a biography  project.   Ansley learned all about Jackie Joyner-Kersee.   She has gone to the library to find informational text, internet searched and finally gathered enough facts to meet the rubric requirements!   I am GLAD that is over!!!
