We ventured to the beach, the sand was still sugar white, with the only evidence of oil in the Gulf, being the smell in the air. The color of the water in the bay was tinted red. It is very sad to think of what this oil spill will do to the beautiful coastline of Alabama. Sorry the pictures are foggy, it was humid and my lens fogged!
